Terms of Service

1. Nature of the service

Orenay includes:
• Desk — free local letter polish; optional AI refine (精修) only after you confirm.
• Learn — language practice, plus cosmology tools when you open them (Orrery, Orbital Lab; Meridian living Earth may open from CultIQ or Learn links).
• Play — age-safe parent–child culture practice (no ranking).
• CultIQ / Wen — customs notes by scene and market.
• Guide — short help that opens published doors; it does not write Desk letters for you and is not live customer chat.
• Hear — plays Orenay house recordings when available. If none are available, your device may speak the words instead — that is a backup, not the guide's voice.
• Embeddable Orrery / Orbital widgets (“By Orenay”) for partner sites when published.
• Supplier Bridge — honest find + ZH register only for real published listings; empty list if none (not a fake marketplace).
• Optional Trial / Pro / packs / 随喜 tips — only when paid checkout is actually live.

Free-path copy comes from on-device tips and static knowledge packs. Compliance soft tips are wording references only — we never invent certificate numbers or certify your product.

2. No legal, tax, or customs advice

Nothing in Orenay — including Desk drafts, guide tips, house audio, compliance soft tips, profession tracks, cosmology tools, or refined output — is legal advice, tax advice, customs brokerage, immigration advice, or product certification.

You remain responsible for confirming current editions, HS lines, marks, visas, and permits with your importer, broker, counsel, or the competent authority.

3. Free writing path

The free desk stays. Writing on this device does not need an account, so exporters can write without paying on the basic path.

Paid plans are paid with Alipay. Each plan is a single payment and does not renew by itself. WeChat Pay is not open yet. Current prices are shown on the pricing page.

4. Optional DeepSeek refine

Optional refine (精修) may send draft text to a server-side model (DeepSeek) only when you explicitly confirm. API keys never enter the browser. The local free desk does not require refine.

Refine output is a writing aid under these Terms — still not certification, not legal advice, and not a guarantee of customs clearance.

4b. Anonymous product signals

To keep Free paths useful and improve shared customs notes, Orenay may process anonymous aggregate product signals (market, channel, feature used, copy/reply flags, gap requests). Early product honesty: free desk + metered trial refine credits for you; aggregate learning for the product. We do not sell people or drafts.

Letter bodies stay on-device by default. Optional refine sends draft text only when you confirm. Usage summaries may inform human review of note updates — never auto-written from your content. Contact: hello@orenay.cn.

5. Suixi (gratitude tip)

随喜 (Suixi) is a voluntary tip of gratitude to keep the product open — not public fundraising, not charity solicitation, and not a donation receipt for tax purposes. Amounts, when a published payment path is available, are voluntary tips. If no path is shown, Suixi is named only and cannot collect money.

6. Your drafts and our materials

You keep rights in the business content you paste or author. Orenay’s UI, knowledge packaging, house audio packs, widgets, and product branding remain ours (or our licensors’).

Do not scrape or republish the customs notes or house audio wholesale as a competing product. Fair personal and commercial use of your own letters is fine. Embed widgets must keep “By Orenay” attribution when required by the embed terms.

7. Limitation of liability

Orenay is provided as-is for early product. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for lost deals, customs delays, rejected marks, visa outcomes, or third-party decisions based on letters or guidance you use.

The house publishes its website ICP filing number: 琼ICP备2026013394号 (MIIT beian query). We do not invent a Chinese legal company name or license number beyond what is live. This footer currently reads: 琼ICP备2026013394号.

Annex A — Verification procedures

This Annex is part of these Terms. It records how Supplier Bridge verification works for Chinese vendors, intermediaries, and foreign buyers. We do not invent filings, live SMS, or live biometrics before those paths are real.

A.1 Vendor (CN) — business licence

A Chinese business licence (营业执照) is a public company record. Upload alone is not proof that you represent the company.

Verified means (1) a licence is on file and (2) control of the company’s official registered mobile is shown by SMS one-time code when SMS is live. The registered mobile is taken from the licence reader or public registry fields only — it is not hand-typed by the vendor as a free-form identity claim.

If no registered mobile is available from that read, the vendor may message customer service in-app (verify-help) with company name, USCC, and a claimed official mobile for manual check. We never sell licence files or contact packs. EXAMPLE cards cannot become Verified. We do not claim government-page verification until that path is live.

A.2 Intermediary (fourth seat)

An Intermediary is a local China desk seat that may help remote buyers. Acting as Intermediary requires an explicit, revocable mandate from the buyer for that engagement.

One hat per thread: a participant does not silently switch between Vendor and Intermediary on the same conversation. If the same USCC appears as both Vendor and Intermediary on the same RFQ, the product shows a clear conflict flag — it does not hide the overlap.

Silent kickbacks are prohibited. Quote ownership stays on the buyer thread. Only Verified foreign buyers may rate Intermediaries. Chinese citizen accounts may not rate Intermediaries.

A.3 Foreign buyer — Verified

Foreign-buyer Verified is biometrics-first: liveness check plus face-to-passport match when that path is real. SMS alone is not identity — disposable numbers are not accepted as proof of personhood.

Passport images and biometric media are used only to complete verification, then deleted. What we keep are seat flags only: verified_foreign, nationality or region, timestamp, and a provider receipt — not the media.

We do not claim live biometrics until the verification path is actually live. Early product may state this rule without inventing a working biometric gate.

9. Updates

We may update these Terms as the product and filings mature. Material changes will appear on this page with a clearer effective note when we leave early product. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms for future sessions.
